Every year, Empower Australia collaborates with local charities to ensure that children who might otherwise go without receive gifts. Join us in making this Christmas brighter for children in need!

In 2022, your generosity was a shining example. Your support for Empower Australia's Christmas Appeal allowed us to contribute over 5,000 gifts to underprivileged children and teenagers.

These children and teenagers face unique challenges, with situations such as having one or both parents incarcerated, experiencing homelessness, escaping domestic abuse, or navigating challenging times for various reasons.

The gifts are distributed through a network of respected charities with whom we are honored to partner.

For 2023, our goal is to provide over 6,000 gifts to children in need this Christmas. Be part of our mission to make this holiday season special for these deserving children. Join us in giving the gift of joy this Christmas!

FAQ.

Who is Empower Australia?

Empower Australia, the charitable arm of Planetshakers Church, operates with the endorsement of the ACNC (Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission) and holds DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) Status. Our charity has a longstanding history of over a decade, and we take pride in our commitment to support our charity partners through our yearly Christmas Appeal. To discover more about our cause, visit www.empoweraustralia.com.au.

How does it work?

Easily "buy a gift" (or more) online!

With your generous donation, we'll take care of purchasing the gifts for you. This year, we're teaming up with a number of companies to acquire the presents. Subsequently, all these gifts will be handed over to our charity partners who will ensure they reach children in need within our community.

Who are the children receiving the gift?

We offer presents to children and teenagers between the ages of 1 and 17 who find themselves in challenging circumstances. These situations may include having one or both parents incarcerated, facing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence or belonging to families that have encountered hardships.

What gift(s) will be bought with my donation?

We provide toys, sports items, or board games, but the specific gifts depend on stock availability.

Teenagers aged 13-17, often overlooked in Christmas Appeals, are especially vulnerable. In response, our charity partners have suggested providing gift cards to empower these teenagers with the choice of their Christmas gift, acknowledging the challenge of selecting presents for this age group. A part of the donations received will be used to buy gift cards for them.

Can I drop off a physical gift/gifts?
